Hello Fellow Traveler,
My name is Harris Kirby. I am a multidisciplinary artist and educator based in Austin, Texas. I have always been interested in a wide variety of arts and felt pulled in many directions from a young age, but art school, various personal experiences, and the forces of capitalism pressured me into attempting to choose one form above all others to perfect. While this is a sustainable way of living for some people, in the last few years I have discovered that I am most fulfilled when I allow myself to explore, value, and give time to all of my creative ideas. Everything on the site was designed and created by me. I am an advocate for human art made by real people. I am a proud trans man. Everything I create and do is informed by my experiences as a trans individual who grew up in the Southern Baptist Church and Evangelicalism in Texas.
I have always loved trains, seeing them, riding them, and exploring my own trains of thought. This website is designed to help you navigate through my various interests and discover examples of my work. It is also a part of my
portfolio in itself. There are multiple routes to take and various stations to investigate. There may even be some hidden ways to take the scenic route. Please enjoy this site however seems to fit you. I am always open to communication and collaboration with likeminded individuals. Contact me if you think there is any way I can be of service to you or that we might help each other.
